This is a post graduate course after hotel management degree, ideal for any student who has completed their bachelors’ degree in hotel management or culinary arts. Hotel Management Degree courses lacks hands on Skill in Culinary Arts and hence this course is designed to hone the culinary skills of the hotel management graduates.
Most of the modules are advanced Culinary Arts and Patisserie where the learners are imparted the cookery skills by professional chefs with rich experience.
Students are provided Six Months kitchen training followed by placement in a star hotel kitchen in India or Abroad.
The major modules of the PGP in Culinary Arts:
- Revision of Basic Cookery Skills
- Advanced Chocolate Art
- Advanced Pastry Art
- Pastillage Art and Confectionery Center Pieces
- Pulled and Blown Isomalt Sugar Art
- Advanced Cake Art– Wedding Cake, Fondant Cake, Different Types of Cake Icing
- Exotic Desserts and Entremets’
- Gastronomy and Culture
- Advanced Boulangerie Art
- Ice Carving, Butter Carving, Fruit and Vegetable Carving
- Strategic Planning in Professional Kitchen
Duration & Eligibility
1 Year.
Those who have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts / Hospitality Management with minimum age of 21.
6 Months Training in Mauritius
- The course is complete hands on Skill for 6 months followed by 6 months training in Star hotels in India or abroad.
- At the moment majority of our students fly to Mauritius star hotels like Marriott, Le Merdien etc.
- During 6 months training students earn 27000 per month with free food on duty and accommodation.
- Free flight ticket worth of 1 lakhs id provided to students who have attendance above 90% during the 6 months classes at the institute.
- After completion of the course students would be provided 100% placement in 5 star category hotels in India or abroad (Maldives, France, Germany , Middle East countries , Spain , Australia, Newzealand and in cruiseliners etc..
